On Nov. 25, Spring Valley Hospital CEO/Managing Director Karla Perez introduced President George W. Bush to a crowd of more than 150 physicians, hospital employees, senior citizens and other community members.

President George W. Bush chose the atrium at Spring Valley Hospital for his first public appearance in Nevada since he was elected to office in 2000. He spoke about healthcare and praised the U.S. Senate for passing the new Medicare reform bill. President Bush also addressed concerns over the need for medical liability reform.
