The New-Mommy Concierge Program features hand or foot massage, afternoon tea and a private, gourmet celebration dinner.

Having a baby is one of the most memorable and heartwarming events couples can experience. But it isn't easy on moms who have to cope with their changing bodies and the stress of carrying, delivering and caring for their little ones.

To recognize and celebrate moms, Centennial Hills Hospital Medical Center is partnering with local and national organizations on a unique New-Mommy Concierge Program that takes pampering to a new level. The program features relaxing hand or foot massages, an afternoon tea and even a gourmet celebration dinner.

"New moms who deliver at the hospital will receive some pleasant surprises while they're recuperating," said Kevin Stockton, CEO and Managing Director, Centennial Hills Hospital. "We'll hold tea gatherings and offer them complimentary hand or foot massages during their hospitalization. We want to celebrate moms and help them relax so they'll feel better faster."

Tea for Two
Moms will receive special invitations to afternoon tea and cookie celebrations during their hospitalization. The teas, which are cosponsored by Babies "R" Us, will give new moms a chance to unwind and socialize with other women who recently delivered.

"Centennial Hills Hospital's focus on serving as a reliable resource for new and expectant parents echoes our commitment to educate and help families find everything they need for their new babies," said Katie Reczek, Public Relations Coordinator for Babies "R" Us. "Our partnership with Centennial Hills Hospital is a perfect opportunity for both organizations to combine their expertise about babies and help moms prepare and care for their new babies."

Time to Relax
Massage therapists from the Centennial Hills Aveda Salon and Day Spa will visit the hospital Monday through Friday to offer new moms their services at no charge.

"Women's bodies go through a lot of changes during pregnancy. They need some time to get back in shape and into their normal routines," said Jenny Lochridge, one of the salon's owners. "With this program, we hope moms will realize how special they are. We also want to remind women that the most important thing they can do for their families is to take care of themselves."

Centennial Hills Hospital is one of the only facilities in the area that offers a program designed exclusively to pamper new moms. To find out more about the program or about delivering at the hospital, please call 835-9889.
