Happy 1st Birthday!
Since opening its doors in January 2008, Centennial Hills Hospital has quickly established itself as a premiere provider of healthcare services in the northwest. Among its accomplishments in the past year are: receiving accreditation from The Joint Commission; caring for more than 35,000 patients; establishing specialty services, such as a Chest Pain Center and soon-to-open Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and offering dozens of health education seminars, screenings and health fairs.

Advanced Neonatal Care
The Women's Center has established its Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (pending state approval as of press time) for newborns who need special attention. The Level II designation will indicate that equipment, technology and staff are available to care for very fragile patients.

If obstetricians know in advance that a baby will be born prematurely or the birth will be difficult, a team of neonatal specialists will attend the delivery. A neonatologist/pediatrician will lead the team and a neonatal nurse also may attend the delivery.

Centennial Hills Hospital offers a range of prenatal and childbirth education classes. For details, please call 702-835-9889 or visit www.IchooseCentennialHills.com. Select Community Events, then Classes.

Emergency Treatment for Chest Pain The symptoms of heart attack should be taken seriously.
All patients with chest pain are directed to the Chest Pain Center in the Emergency Department. A team of healthcare professionals works quickly to identify the source of chest pain and implement the appropriate tests and treatment procedures.
