New Emergency Room Open
Summerlin Hospital celebrated the completion of its Emergency Room (ER) and Pediatric ER expansion on December 6 with a pediatric community health fair and tours of the newly completed ER.

The new ER more than doubles the size of the hospital's previous ER and includes private patient care areas, integrated (in-ER) imaging suites, a new approach to managing chest pain patients and an all new Pediatric ER, complete with a spaceship pattern in the floor and twinkling star lights in the ceiling.

Robert Freymuller Appointed CEO/
Managing Director
Universal Health Services, Inc., is pleased to announce the appointment of Robert S. Freymuller to the position of CEO/Managing Director at Summerlin Hospital. In this role, Freymuller is responsible for oversight and management of the hospital's strategic, financial and business development initiatives.

Mr. Freymuller comes to Summerlin Hospital with more than 25 years of senior hospital management and leadership experience. He previously served with Medcath, Inc., as President and CEO of Texsan Heart Hospital and as a CEO with Tenet Healthcare Corporation for Good Samaritan Hospital in Florida and Doctors Hospital in Dallas, Texas.

Freymuller holds an MBA and a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Utah. He has served on numerous community boards in various states including the American Heart Association.
