Each year hundreds of Southern Nevada nurses are nominated as "nurse of the year" candidates in 24 categories, but only a select few are honored. The Valley Health System (VHS) is proud to congratulate 13 of our nurses -- six winners and seven runners-up -- in 11 areas of nursing.

"We are so proud of all of our nominees," said Karla Perez, Vice President of VHS. "It takes a special person to be a nurse. Their dedication to patients, coworkers and the profession speaks volumes."
