Desert Springs Hospital CEO Awarded Highest Honor by Universal Health Services

Carl W. Fitch Sr., CEO/Managing Director of Desert Springs Hospital Medical Center, was recently honored with the Universal Health Services (UHS) Chairman's Council Award for the Western Region.

The Chairman's Council Award is the highest honor bestowed by UHS to its CEOs and is reserved for the top Chief Executive Officers who personify all-around excellence in management and leadership.

Fitch was appointed CEO/Managing Director of Desert Springs Hospital in November 2002.
